MacBook – Apple Mail
In order to add an email address provided by us to your MacBook via the Apple Mail client follow these steps:
- On the very top left of your mac, you will see the Apple logo, click that button.
- Click on System Preferences
- Click on Internet Accounts – It’s usually on the left side of this window
- Click on Add Other Account… and then on Mail Account
- Name the account the way you will want it to read when you send emails
- Enter the new email address and password we have provided to you
- You will get an “error message” this is normal
- The email address and password should be populated automatically. Make sure the account type is set to IMAP and the incoming and outgoing mail servers are both going to be the same. They both will be: mail.yourwebsiteaddress.com and click sign in
And that’s it! You should be able to create email signatures, away messages, etc. the same as you would a different email
iPhone – Apple Mail
In order to add an email address provided by us to your iPhone follow these steps:
- Tap on your Settings App
- Either search for or find the Passwords & Accounts setting and tap on it
- Tap on Add Account
- Tap on Other
- At the very top, tap on Add Mail Account
- Name your new account (this is what will be shown on your emails)
- The description is what you will see
- Enter the new email address and password we have provided to you
- Make sure IMAP is selected and you fill out this area completely (yes, even the optional fields)
- The email address and first password should be populated automatically. The incoming and outgoing mail servers are both going to be the same. They both will be: mail.yourwebsiteaddress.com and your username is the new email address we provided to you. Fill those in and tap on Next
- Make sure Mail is selected and tap on Save
And that’s it! You should be able to create email signatures, away messages, etc. the same as you would a different email
