Setting up your custom business email address on Apple devices like a MacBook or iPhone ensures you can stay connected and look professional when communicating with clients. Follow this easy step-by-step guide to configure your new email address in the Apple Mail app.
Setting Up Your Email on a MacBook (Apple Mail)
To add an email address provided by us or a new email address to your MacBook’s Mail app, follow these steps carefully:
1. Open System Preferences
- Click the Apple logo located at the top-left corner of your screen.
- Select System Settings from the drop-down menu.

2. Access Internet Accounts
- Click on Internet Accounts (typically found on the left-hand side).

3. Add a New Mail Account

2. Then select Mail Account.

4. Enter Your Email Information
- Enter the name you want displayed when sending emails.
- Input the new email address and password we have provided to you.
5. Handle the Initial Error Message
- You may receive an “error message” — this is expected. Simply proceed.
6. Configure IMAP Settings
- Ensure the account type is set to IMAP.
- Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourwebsiteaddress.com
- Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourwebsiteaddress.com
- Click Sign In.
7. Finalize Setup
- Your email should now be added!

6. Configure IMAP Settings
- Ensure IMAP is selected (not POP).
- Fill out all fields, including optional ones, for better performance:
- Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourwebsiteaddress.com
- Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourwebsiteaddress.com
- Username: (your full new email address)
- Password: (the password provided)
7. Complete Setup
- Tap Next.
- Ensure the Mail option is selected.
