Our Favorite SEO Blogs You’ll Want To Bookmark

SEO blogs to bookmark today

Search engine optimization (SEO) standards are constantly changing and improving the way they deliver results to users. Google has been pretty public about the changes that are coming to SEO in the next few years, and that common theme has been user experience and AI (Artificial Intelligence).

How do we know that? Because we read a lot. As a marketer or small business owner, it is critical to keep up with all of this news to make sure what you’re doing is the most effective.

Here is our list of SEO blogs that we look to for these topics!

The Moz Blog

Moz has really turned into the gold standard for SEO updates and how-to-articles. The Moz Blog’s team published at least one article per day to help you learn more about SEO. This is the one blog I always make sure to check daily. They also have plenty of free tools to make you better at SEO!

SEMrush Blog

SEMrush does a fantastic job of staying up to date on SEO trending news, and offering advice to businesses of all sizes and across a wide range of industries. There are some free tools that SEMrush offers too.

HubSpot Blog

While HubSpot doesn’t throw its hat in the SEO game as much as the two mentioned above, HubSpot does a fantastic job of keeping you up to date with SEO best practices, and always is able to point you in the right direction.

Neil Patel

Neil Patel and his team love talking about everything SEO related. They do a great job of publishing articles often, offering free SEO tools, and their YouTube channel is just as good as their blog!

Ahrefs Blog

Ahref claims to help you get better at not only SEO but at marketing in general. They have various detailed tutorials, case studies, and opinion pieces from marketing practitioners and industry experts.

Bonus! Book Called: SEO 2021

This is a book I recommend if you’re looking to get more into SEO. As far as business books go, it’s a fairly easy read and the Author, Adam Clarke, does a great job of making each chapter understandable, informative, and beneficial.

The chapters are organized in a way that really helps you understand SEO at the beginning of the book and gives action items to implement by the end.

There are plenty of other resources out there that you can use to learn more about SEO and get better as a marketer, but these are the ones we use most often here at SocialSurge. Obviously, we have to give credit to our own resource, The Beginners Guide to SEO. If you’re looking to really get a deep understanding of SEO and how it works, this is the guide for you!
