2. Use Retargeting

Retargeting is a powerful way to bring people back to your website. When someone visits your site but doesn’t take any action, you can show them ads on Facebook to remind them about your product. To do this, you need to have tracking codes, also known as the META Pixel, installed on your website. This code helps you track who visits your site and allows you to show them relevant ads later.

One nice thing about Facebook Ads is that they are still one of the cheapest bangs for your buck when it comes to retargeting. While the amount of data that can be collected has decreased significantly over the years, it is still a cheap way to keep potential customers in your funnel.

3. Use META Advantage+ Audience

When setting up your audience targeting, consider using META Advantage+ Audience. This feature allows you to keep your audience broad and lets META optimize who sees your ads. By doing this, META will use its algorithms to show your ads to the people who are most likely to be interested in your product.

This is perhaps one of the biggest changes to ads over the last 5 years. When running Facebook ads, it was best practice to make your audience as targeted as possible. These days, you want to keep your audience fairly broad and let META fill in the gaps. Definitely still take the time to make some recommendations to META and guide them a little bit about your audience, but after that, it is best to step aside and let META’s fancy systems work their magic.
