Account Manager

SocialSurge Marketing is a digital marketing agency that primarily works with local businesses to help tell their stories online through social media, SEO, content creation, web design, paid advertising, and more!

We are rapidly growing and looking to add an Account Manager to our team! As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, managing their accounts, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services. You will serve as the main point of contact for clients and collaborate closely with our internal teams to deliver exceptional social media, SEO, content creation, and paid ads solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing client accounts successfully.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ability to communicate directly with clients via email, phone, and other communication methods in a timely manner.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular meetings and communications with clients to provide updates on project progress, performance reports, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and objectives.
  • Manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and upselling additional services to clients.
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports for clients and internal team members, highlighting campaign performance, achievements, and areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with our internal team members, including social media specialists, SEO specialist, and web designers, to develop effective strategies and plans for client campaigns.
  • Experience with task management systems such as Notion, Asana, etc.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics and performance indicators for client campaigns, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging digital marketing technologies to ensure that our clients receive cutting-edge solutions.

Other Qualities

We’re looking for someone who is a team player and enjoying working collaboratively. Most of our work is done as a team, and we want to make sure you’ll enjoy working with us!

  • Must be organized
  • Knowledge of Google Suite is a plus
    • Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.

Most of our clients are in Milwaukee and southeast Wisconsin. We have a love for Milwaukee that our clients see, and we’re looking for someone who shares that love!

Most of the work you’re doing is going to be brand new to you, and that’s totally okay! We want to make sure that you’re okay learning new skills and becoming more well rounded in Digital Marketing!

Other information about this role

College Degree in Marketing Field OR a proven track record of success in some of the requirements.

Milwaukee, WI - Must be able to work in-person at our office 2-3 days/week with work-from-home the rest of the time.

Must be generally available 8-5 every day, but flexible work as long as timelines are met.
